"Medusa-head record" will be the worst. I've tried to research it, and had no luck. What little info I could dig up makes me believe it was a promo put out by an old punk label to promote a bunch of indie bands. The record is REALLY thick, due to the picture being printed on cardboard instead of paper. The sound quality is REALLY low, apparently... so I'll have to bust my ass to try to find better quality tracks of them...
And as far as discogs go, my dad's basically got 5+ albums by the bands, so it'd be easier to just torrent them and pick the ones that he has, then try to locate each individual album... I really hope I can find at least half of this online.
I also get the strangest feeling that I'm going to have to buy another 400gig HDD or so to store it all once it's complete. |
